The 2026 spring semester will kick off with Welcome Week events that will run from January 12-27.
Welcome Week will start on Monday, January 12 with Pancakes with the President from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the first floor of College Services.
On Tuesday, January 13, there will be a Capsule the Moment event with Program Board, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at College Services First Floor.
Wednesday, January 14 will feature Mix, Mingle and Win with Students Clubs and Organizations! from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Kopp Student Garden Room and a Controllers, Cards and Connections event from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Kopp Student Center Garden Room.
Thursday, January 15 will feature a pair of events, with Open House and Vision Boards with the Diversity Center from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Kopp Student Center: Diversity Center and Fireside Room and Bookmarks and Brews: A Sweet Escape to the Library from 1 to 3 p.m. taking place on the second floor of the Library Main Lobby.
There will also be Welcome Week Events on January 20-22 and January 26-27.
The second week will start off featuring Pretzel Bites & Provisional Memberships with Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the College Services Main Floor and Lobby and Digital Drag & Dazzle Bingo from 6 to 7 p.m. online (you can email studentlife@normandale.edu for link or scan posters on campus)
On Wednesday, January 21, there will be a Student Resource Center Open House from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Student Resource Center located in Activities Center Room A 1560, and Thursday, January 22 will feature CARE-icatures with CARE, Conduct & Title IX from 12-2 p.m. in the Tutoring Center Computer Lab, College Services Room C 2190.
Welcome events wrap up on January 26 and 27 with Sticker your Story with Academic Support Center from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Monday, January 26 at the Academic Support Center College Services Room C 2190, and Get to Know Program Board from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Tuesday January 27 in the College Services Main Floor Lobby.
